Welcome to DnD Familiar (“the Service”), a tool designed to enhance tabletop storytelling through live transcription, contextual analysis, and narrative assistance for Dungeon Masters and players. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
We collect information to operate and improve the Service, including:
a. Audio and Transcription Data
Voice recordings, transcriptions, and in-game dialogue captured during active gameplay sessions.
Metadata such as timestamps, speaker identification (if provided), and contextual keywords.
b. User-Provided Information
Display names, email addresses, or campaign identifiers (if you create an account or link profiles).
Optional profile or campaign settings you provide to personalize your experience.
c. Technical and Usage Data
Device type, browser, and operating system.
IP address, session duration, and general usage statistics (e.g., frequency of use, command activity).
d. Aggregated and Anonymized Data
We may derive aggregated, non-identifiable datasets from session data to study gameplay trends, feature usage, and storytelling patterns.

Deliver real-time transcription, context, and narrative feedback;

Raw Audio & Transcriptions: Stored temporarily (typically 7–30 days) to enable real-time processing, debugging, and user access.
Aggregated or Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely for research, analytics, and model improvement.
User Accounts: Retained until you request deletion or stop using the Service.
